Welcome!

Hi and welcome to my blog. It's called "The Maths Geek" because I am one. It could have been called "The Math Geek" but, firstly, that name was already taken and, secondly, I prefer the British spelling over the American one. And in Britain we say "maths" and not "math".

There! I started my blog nit-picking on some grammatical issue. This qualifies me, at least partially, as a geek.
